What is juji gatami?

Juji gatami is a technique primarily used in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo. It is also known as a cross lock or armbar. The technique involves attacking the opponent's arm by placing one leg over their neck and the other leg over their shoulder. This allows the practitioner to apply leverage to the opponent's arm in order to create a joint lock and force them to submit. Juji gatami is a highly effective and commonly used technique in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions and is also used in self-defense situations. However, it is a dangerous technique that should only be attempted by experienced practitioners and during supervised training sessions.
